TERRI J WRIGHT, MS, NCC, LPC
I Love My Job!
While that may sound cliche or corny, it is true. I always hope that the love and passion I have for what I do, shines through for my clients.
Although I earned a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology in 1995, my education in providing help for those in need, has been an ongoing process over the last 20 years. As a therapist, I feel that it is my obligation to continuously educate myself in areas that I feel will offer options to helping my clients.
In the course of my continuing journey to seek out ways of helping people gain peace and balance, I have obtained and continue to train in the following areas:
1. Certification as a EFT Couples Therapist (Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy)
2. Certification as an EMDR Therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing)
3. Advanced training in Gottman Couples Method (Level 3)
4. Certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist
5. Counselor supervision
You will find more detailed descriptions, of the types of therapy I am trained in and employ under the services section. You will also find links for websites that will provide you more detailed information on any particular therapy style or method.

Life can be difficult, Getting the help you need shouldn't be. My job is to make your transition into counseling as comfortable as possible. I believe that every individual is unique and in counseling, should be treated that way. I use different methods of therapy and individualize your counseling experience to what is best designed for you. I counsel on the premise that individuals have it within themselves to achieve the balance that they need for their lives. It is my goal to help you achieve that balance and lead a healthier life.
My counseling education started with the University of Mississippi and continues today with advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.

Counseling is a true gift! Having the privilege of sitting with others as they sort through and process some of the hardest seasons of their life is truly amazing. Counseling can be such a powerful tool, and I love that I get to spend my days with others in the counseling room. It truly is so much more than a job to me, in fact, it doesn't feel much like a job at all! I specialize in working with individuals, both adults and children, couples and families. I recently graduated with my Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Mississippi and am currently working towards becoming a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Registered Play Therapist, and certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and families (EFT).
Faith grew up in Terry Mississippi. When Faith isn't counseling, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog, going for a run or bike and visiting her family in South Mississippi.
