One Step at a Time, and Before You Know It You’ll find Yourself Doing the Impossible!

Meeting you where you are with full acceptance, non-judgement and compassion. Show me the way you see the world and how it’s been shaped by your life experience.  If you see the sky as purple, I’m more interested in understanding why you see it that way, instead of convincing you to see it the way I do.  Life can be overwhelming at times, but working together you can develop deeper insight into your lived experiences and gain transformative awareness that can lead to the healing you desire.

My background

I received my Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mississippi and am a Nationally Certified Counselor.  I have experience working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, identity issues, grief and loss, postpartum depression and anxiety, trauma and adolescent males struggling with substance abuse.  I work with adults, adolescents and families. I help couples rebuild lost connections and heal relationship wounds through Emotionally Focused Therapy.

I am a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but have lived in Oxford since 2012.  In my free time, I refill my cup by spending time with my little boy and husband, digging into spiritual rejuvenation and watching classic television shows like the Golden Girls and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.  I also enjoy exercising, cooking, traveling, listening to music, and taking moments to have bellyaching laughs!  And when life gets overwhelming for me, I too remind myself to take it one step at a time.
