The Starting Line

A Place to Be Heard

Bring us your problems, your doubts, your fears.
You’ll be safe here; a place to be yourself, a place to have your voice heard.

Step 1:  Reach Out!

The first step is always the hardest. Connect with us! Call or text (662) 202-7332 – or email inquiries@wrightcounselinggroup.com.

We will always try to answer, but many times we’re in a session. Don’t worry; just leave a message, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. We work late, so sometimes we may be calling you back after regular business hours.

Step 2:  Phone call.

Our first conversation by phone is free and can take from 10 to 20 minutes. We’ll have some important questions to determine what you’re looking for and how we can help.

You’ll have some questions, too. About services, available days and times, but also a desire to make sure we understand your struggles and can connect with your needs. You want to know that we hear you and that “We get it.”

By the end of the call, you should have a pretty good idea whether you’d like to work with us and if you’d like to move forward, we will set up an initial session.

Step 3:  Initial Meeting.

Our first face-to-face session will last about an hour or so. Our goal will be for me to understand your story, and we’ll leave with some answers and a plan for moving forward.

We will work together to move forward.

As your counselor, sometimes I will be the expert simply by giving you research-based information and providing insight, as we try to change the old habits that hold you back.

Other times, I am your tour guide through the process toward healing. I will lead you through the dark to find your own answers and solutions.

I am, at times, just your partner in the mess.

Someone to be with you in your pain, providing safety and acknowledgement, as we sort through the mess together.

I won’t always have all the answers, but we will be in it together as we find them.

Take the first step today; just reach out.
